Accessibility Statement

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. This website has been designed to be as accessible as possible while still visually interesting. To do this we have considered a variety of features which are summarised below.

Browser Compatibility

This website has been designed to work with the following browsers. If you are experiencing issues with the website it is recommended that you install the latest version of the browser.

  • Internet Explorer/Edge
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Google Chrome

Later versions of these browsers should continue to be compatible.

Consistent Navigation

Throughout the site we have tried to keep the navigation consistent. Certain pages are available from every single page on the website. All image links have text alternatives.

CSS & XHTML

We use CSS (cascading style sheets) for all layouts. No tables are used for layout purposes.

Resizing Text/Zooming

If you find the text on our website is too small, you can re-size it accordingly.

For Internet Explorer 7 and 8

Choose Page > Text Size from the menu to re-size the text.
Or choose Page > Zoom from the menu to re-size the entire page.

For Internet Explorer 9

Choose  Tools >  Zoom > Zoom in

For Microsoft Edge

Choose Settings and More >  Zoom > Zoom in

For Mozilla Firefox

Choose View > Zoom from the menu. If you select the ‘Zoom Text Only’ option, only the text will be re-sized; otherwise the entire page will be re-sized.

For Google Chrome

Choose Settings > Zoom from the menu. Currently Chrome only supports page resizing and not text-only resizing.

All other browsers should be able to re-size the text directly from the menu bar. Or in many browsers, you can zoom by holding CTRL and pressing + or – .  Some browsers also support zooming by holding CTRL and using the mouse scroll wheel. Please see your specific browser help pages if you are having difficulty.
