Each half-term, each phase invites parents/families into school to participate in a lesson. This provides an opportunity for families to see teaching strategies, to share learning skills and to promote a positive learning experience to the child.
Family learning matters!
It matters because parental engagement in family learning has a large and positive impact on children’s learning; giving greater confidence and self-belief, with measurable benefits to their literacy, language and numeracy skills. Families are the bedrock of our community and society.
Our Family Learning Days focus on a different element each half-term. All parents/carers will be notified of the dates for our Family Learning Days at the beginning of each half-term with a reminder added to the Events tab on Facebook. Spaces can be reserved via the Arbor App.
