I would like to offer a warm welcome to our school and what we often refer to as the Oakwell family. It is a privilege and honour to have served this community for nearly a decade as either a Headteacher or more recently the Executive Principal. I am passionate about ensuring our children have a positive, happy and memorable education surrounded by adults who develop relationships to ensure they thrive. The primary years of a child's life are fundamental to secure the best possible life chances. Not only academically but socially and emotionally helping them to follow their aspirations and dreams.

Our curriculum is designed with your child in mind. They spend many hours of their day within the classroom and outdoors learning, so what they learn and how they learn is crucial. Our talented teachers develop curious, active thinkers who have the knowledge across the whole curriculum to discover the things that ignite their love of learning and identify their talents for the future. Our historical building really is quite a unique space. Do come to have a look inside as our school environment really is exceptional. We have invested in our outdoor spaces, a new state of the art library, high quality resources and computing equipment.

We have developed a huge relationship with families and the wider diverse community which we are all very proud of. We are dedicated to ensuring that we meet the needs of our children and their families.
