New topic for Spring term…
This term we are diving into an exciting new topic of Traditional Tales and are encouraging children to read as many different tales as possible including Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and Three Billy Goats Gruff.
We will be embracing our topic through exciting design technology projects such as designing and making castles and different homes for the characters to live in. Also there will be exciting role play areas to play in to help enhance the children’s speaking and listening skills using masks and a puppet show to retell the traditional tales with props.
We will be still looking for our Top Spot writers each week. This is where a piece or pieces of children’s work is displayed on the Top Spot for fantastic handwriting, use of conjunctions and excellent description with exciting vocabulary.
